From the deep south of The Netherlands, comes a brand new rockin' country / honky tonk band.

Introducing: PJ Taylor Band. Founded in 2023 in Landgraaf, The Netherlands.

The band was formed around singer-songwriter PJ Snijders (Supersonics, The Taildraggers) with the idea to set up a band to play strictly original songs in a traditional, rockin’ 60’s honky tonk / Bakersfield style with a lot of twang, swing rock & roll. Although the music is all original, the songs immediately remind of mostly uptempo 1960’s George Jones, Buck Owens, Wynn Stewart or Johnny Paycheck.

Get ready for lots of twang, swing, some rock 'n roll (with a touch of rockabilly) all coming from 2 Telecaster lead-guitars, an upright bass, acoustic guitar and drums. The band’s musicians have a lot of experience in the American roots music field (country, blues, rockabilly and rock & roll), with a heart that’s beating for traditional country and honky tonk music.  We’re keeping real rockin’ country music alive!
